Time Travel
Is time travel possible? According to some physicists it is. But there are some rules and regulations. You cannot travel back in time, or at least not to the time before the time machine is invented. You have to travel near the speed of light(which will probably end up killing you), or find a wormhole(which is actually hypothetical and may not really exist). So my answer to this question is a regretful 'no'. But then I'm no physicist. Which I am really glad about. Because they seem to love pointing out all the flaws in movies that don't obey the laws of physics. And that really pisses me off.
What Is Time Really?
Have you ever noticed how time seems to speed up or slow down depending on what you are doing? If you are having a great day with a friend, chances are time will pass quickly for you. If you are sitting in class learning about something that has no interest for you, time will appear to pass slowly. Now why does it do this? Surely in a perfect world it would be the opposite.
The nature of time has been an enourmous topic that has intrigued philosophers, scientists, and everybody else who takes time to actually think about things.
Buddhists believe time is an illusion. But then they believe everything is an illusion so that doesn't really help us understand time.
However there is a great book called Making Time:Why Time Seems To Pass At Different Speeds And How To Control It, if you want some answers.
